Gippsland is a classic hand-woven, wool blend rug that features subtle stripe detailing for added dimension.
Ivory with soft brown stripes, Gippsland Stone brings a soft, cosy style — perfect for creating warm and inviting environments.
Our hand-woven Gippsland floor rug consists of 80% Wool and 20% Viscose, giving it a beautiful, soft underfoot feel.
The Gippsland rug is available in the size 2m x 3m and features full cotton backing with a cotton braided edge for improved longevity and wear.
This rug is suitable for general living spaces, entries and hallways, as well as dining rooms and bedrooms.
Created by craftsmen using artisan skills, all rugs are individually handmade. As a result, our rugs can vary by 5% from the size ordered.
Custom Rug Sizes:
Most of our rug designs can be tailored to a custom size and to suit your space. Complete our online enquiry for Custom Rugs, and our team will get back to you with a cost and timeline on the production of your new custom rug.
Note:
There are some limitations on different designs. All rugs are hand-made to order, as such the lead time for our custom sizes is 26 weeks for standard sea freight shipping, or optional air freight shipping at an additional cost.
Product images are only visual representations, and while care is taken to ensure accuracy, colours may vary due to monitor variations.
We recommend a non-slip underlay should always be placed under rugs. It will stop the rug slipping, create more depth underfoot and lessen wear on the rug. It also prevents the risk of dye transfer to the under surface and helps protect timber flooring.
Treat spots and spills immediately with a damp, undyed absorbent cloth or paper towel. Use warm water. Do not soak the area. Do not use soap or detergents. If stain remains, contact a professional rug cleaner.
Do not scrub the fibres. Vacuum regularly with low suction.
Avoid direct sunlight. Regularly rotate to ensure even wear.
Use professional rug cleaners only who have experience with the fibre composition.
Shedding from new rugs is to be expected and will reduce with time.
Due to the handcrafted nature of rugs, variations in size and colour may occur between samples and goods received.
Do not spot clean or use liquid cleaners (including water) on viscose rugs. Viscose rugs need to be dry cleaned using a professional rug cleaner. Initial spills should be blotted (be sure not to scrub, as this will damage the pile) immediately with a paper towel or colourless cloth. Then arrange a professional rug cleaner for a dry cleaning service as soon as possible.
