Ravello Quilt Cover
Ravello quilt covers are made from aero-finished European linen, a finish that softens the fibre from the first use rather than after seasons of washing.
The quilt cover is the largest single surface in most bedrooms, so it sets the tone before anything else is added. Linen is the right fibre for that job because it holds texture: the weave stays visible and the drape falls in soft folds rather than lying flat, which is what gives a linen bed its relaxed, unforced look.
Aero-finishing is what makes it wearable straight away. Flax is a strong, rigid fibre and new linen is famously stiff; the finish relaxes the fabric at the mill so the cover arrives with the hand feel linen usually takes seasons to develop.
Linen also regulates temperature rather than simply insulating, absorbing and releasing moisture through the night, which is why the same cover works across seasons where cotton can feel clammy in warmth and thin in cold.
Available in denim, sage, silver, white, shell, bone, caper and biscuit, sized single through to super king.
