Jacqueline Flatweave Wool Rugs
Handwoven from 100% wool, Jacqueline is defined by a refined flatweave construction that creates a low-profile, textural foundation underfoot.
A flatweave has no pile. The yarn is woven through the warp rather than knotted and cut, which produces a dense, tightly bound surface only 7mm deep. That construction is what makes Jacqueline practical: nothing to crush or flatten, no pile to trap grit, and a low enough profile that doors clear and chairs move freely.
Wool brings the qualities the construction cannot. It resists soiling, recovers from compression and takes dye with a depth synthetic fibres flatten, so the tonal palette reads rich rather than printed. A cotton backing adds stability and stops the rug travelling.
Tonal fringe detailing finishes the ends, softening what would otherwise be a very structured piece. Colours run through brulee, barley, rosewood, cashew and pumice, all warm neutrals designed to sit under furniture rather than compete with it.
Well suited to bedrooms, dining rooms and entry hallways, wherever durability and ease of maintenance matter as much as texture.
